An MHK is to call for a Tynwald select committee to look into a land swap deal between the Isle of Man Government and a housing developer.
Member for Michael, Alf Cannan, wants an investigation into the agreement concluded last summer between the Department of Education and Children and housing developers Pinecrest Holdings and Heritage Homes.
In January, Mr Cannan told Manx Radio he was determined to get to the bottom of the deal as he felt something did not add up about it.
Mr Cannan wants to know whether Tynwald was given correct information in January last year when debating whether to support the department in its negotiations.
He alleges Tynwald was told in early 2011 the deal needed to go ahead because Heritage Homes had access to the zoned land from Douglas Road Corner.
But at the public planning inquiry held last month, the developer's transport consultant said it could not access the site from there because of insufficient visibility.
In a motion to be put before the February sitting of Tynwald, Mr Cannan also asks whether the manner in which the negotiations were conducted was right and proper and whether proper value for money was achieved.
