Plans unveiled for IOM TV news

The Isle of Man is to get its own web-based television news service.

Manx Telecom TV will be launched in the coming days, according to local broadcaster Paul Moulton.

He made the announcement at a public meeting of the Positive Action Group last night (Monday), at which the issue of whether the Island should have a television station was discussed.

Mr Moulton believes there is a market for a web-based service:
