Merged college staff meeting

by isleofman.com 30th January 2012

Staff at Isle of Man College and the International Business School are meeting this evening (Monday) to hear how the two institutions will be brought together.

Consultations have been taking place with staff from the Homefield Road and Nunnery sites, who were asked to contribute ideas for a new structure.

It will be renamed the Isle of Man College of Further and Higher Education and will have college principal Professor Ronald Barr at the helm.

Professor Barr says the net loss of staff will be very small, as savings have been made following the resignation of business school director Gerald Watt and the non-replacement of other senior staff.
