'Manx Missile' Mark Cavendish has picked up another honour.

The cyclist, already road race world champion, Tour de France green jersey winner and BBC Sports Personality of the Year, has received the 2011 Golden Cycle award, from the Merseyside Cycling Development Group.

The prize is awarded for the most outstanding performance of the year by a cyclist from Merseyside and the Isle of Man, and it's the fourth successive year Cav has won the title.
