'Spread the burden of redundancies'

An Isle of Man businessman says he hopes government can 'grasp the nettle' and make sure managers as well as lower-ranking workers are laid off, as part of any redundancy plan.

Ian Davison was speaking on Manx Radio’s Sunday Opinion programme when he claimed middle managers wouldn't be put under the spotlight.

He said ground-floor workers were more at risk than their higher-paid bosses, but hoped government would consider each case carefully:
