'Be fair in budget' says bishop

Bishop Robert is urging the Manx government to make sure the less well-off aren't unfairly burdened by budget cuts.

Chief Minister Allan Bell has been warning of austerity measures and job losses in the run-up to next month's budget.

Bishop Robert says it’s important that any cuts should be applied fairly across the board, and has been meeting ministers ahead of the speech in Tynwald by Treasury Minister Eddie Teare, on February 21.

He says his concern is about fairness:
