Prosecution warning to landlords

by isleofman.com 28th January 2012

Home Affairs Minister Juan Watterson says the government is trying to work with landlords on the Island to rectify problems with fire safety.

He confirmed hundreds of properties on the Island hadn’t met stringent regulations in November last year.

Mr Watterson says those landlords have been contacted and urged to put things right rather than risk prosecution.

But he says there are still a number which have yet to do so.
