The Isle of Man will mark Holocaust Memorial Day this weekend.
The theme of this year's day of remembrance is 'Speak up, speak out'.
A service will be attended by members of Tynwald, including Chief Minister Allan Bell, and students from the Island's secondary schools.
One of the organisers, Leonard Singer MHK, says it's important for future generations to remember the events of World War II (listen to audio file below):
The service is at Trinity Church in Douglas on Sunday (January 29), starting at 2.45pm.
