Island's former bishop honoured in London

Former Isle of Man bishop and dean of St Paul's Cathedral Graeme Knowles has been guest of honour at a reception in Mansion House, to thank him for his services.

Bishop Graeme resigned from the role of dean, as a result of the protest camp outside the cathedral.

In his speech to the chief minister's international dinner at the Sefton Hotel on Thursday, Lord Mayor of London David Whooton referred to the reception which, he told his audience, was unusual:
