Amor announces retirement

TT star Keith Amor has announced his retirement from road racing.

A persistent shoulder injury picked up in a spill at TT 2011, and the prospect of further operations, has left him with 'no choice'. 

Last year, Amor rode in the Honda Isle of Man TT Legends team alongside 17-time winner John McGuinness.

He made his debut around the mountain course in 2007 and finished on the TT podium five times.

Amor says while it's time to close the door on racing, he has plenty to look forward to:
