Pupils will miss ancillary Liz

A stalwart of the Cronk-y-Berry staff is enjoying her first day of retirement today (Saturday).

Liz Walker has called it a day after working at the primary school as a lunchtime ancillary since it opened 14 years ago.

Before that, the 73-year-old worked at Willaston Primary School.

These pupils told Manx Radio why they are going to miss her (listen to audio file below):
