Three appointed to Civil Service Commission

by isleofman.com 20th January 2012

CHIEF Minister Allan Bell has appointed three lay members to serve on the Island’s Civil Service Commission, the body which employs civil servants working for the Manx Government.

Previous members Mr Ian Jarritt and Major Charles Wilson have been re-appointed. John Coyle, who works in the financial services industry, joins the Commission as a new member, replacing Geoff Crowe who did not seek re-appointment.

The appointments were made following public advertisement, short-listing and interviewing of applicants. The lay members will work with Commission chairman Alf Cannan MHK and vice-chairman Leonard Singer MHK.
