Alexandra Road in Castletown has been re-opened after gas works in the town were completed ahead of schedule.
It had been closed in the daytime from Monday morning between S&S Motors and the traffic lights at Douglas Road Corner as part of the natural gas conversion scheme.
Manx Gas is thanking businesses in the area and has confirmed the actual conversion in Castletown will begin in May.
