FIVE politicians from the Isle of Man have signed up to take part in a charity abseil in aid of The Children's Centre.
The MHKs – Tim Crookall, Eddie Teare, Phil Gawne, Laurence Skelly and Kate Beecroft – will take part in the Island's highest indoor abseil in the Strand Centre later this month.
They will be under the watchful eye of the Mobex team from The Children's Centre.
Rushen MHK Laurence Skelly said: "We are all greatly looking forward to the sponsored abseil at the Strand Centre.
"It should be an exciting if slightly scary experience for us but for a worthy good cause. On behalf of the MHKs and the Strand Centre please come along and support the event."
In November last year The Children's Centre raised more than £1,500 by hosting a similar charity abseil. For more information on this click here.
To see the MHKs in action visit the Strand Centre on Saturday, January 28 from 11am.
