A DIRECTOR of Chrystals Estate Agents has become a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Nigel Crowe received the honour from the president of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), See Lian Ong, at a ceremony held at the institution's headquarters in Westminster.
The RICS fellowship award is made to senior professional members with significant achievements in their profession in relation to academic study or through involvement with RICS itself.
Nigel is currently the vice chairman of the Isle of Man Chartered Surveyors which coordinates activities for local members of the institution and acts as a communication channel with government and other professional organisations.
Shane Magee, chairman of Chrystals Estate Agents, said: "It is a great honour to have one of our directors elected a Fellow of the RICS - the pre-eminent body for qualifications and standards in land, property and construction.
"This is a wonderful achievement for Nigel. To be elected a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors takes considerable skill and an in-depth knowledge of all property related matters which Nigel has accumulated over his career and 23 years with the firm.
"Founded in 1854 Chrystals is the oldest firm of Estate Agents and Chartered Surveyors in the Isle of Man. All Chrystals' directors are Chartered Surveyors and we pride ourselves on being a true general practice firm able to deal with property matters across a broad spectrum.
"I congratulate Nigel on his Fellowship and know his expert knowledge in all aspects of property and land will continue to make him the leading light within our industry."
