MANX Telecom has apologised after problems with its broadband service this morning (Wednesday).
The company said it had experienced problems with the service in the North of the Island which meant many users were unable to connect to the internet.
(isleofman.com also had problems logging onto the internet in the Tromode area.)
According to updates from Manx Telecom, on Facebook and Twitter, engineers were able to locate the problem and work on the issue.
At around 9.50am a spokesperson for Manx Telecom posted: "We are starting to see users come back online. In some circumstances a reboot of the router may be required to start a fresh IP session.
"Service was restored just after 9.35am. Engineers will continue to monitor the network. Once again apologies for any inconvenience caused."
