STANDARD Bank in the Isle of Man raised £4,712.03 following three fundraising events at the end of last year.
In November employees supported the "Movember" campaign – which encourages men to grow their facial hair – and raised £2,213 for the Prostate Cancer Charity and the Institute of Cancer Research.
Staff at the bank raised nearly £1,120 for the BBC Children in Need appeal, which also took place in November, by organising numerous activities including a fancy dress day and cake sale.
The bank matched the donation to enable £2,225.21 to be gifted to the appeal.
A dress down day within the company also resulted in a donation of £273.82 being made in support of The Children's Centre in the Isle of Man.
John Coyle, the chief executive officer of Standard Bank Isle of Man, said: "Our approach to fundraising can only be described as enthusiastic and over the past few months our staff have engaged in some unusual antics in the name of charity.
"The results of their efforts exceeded all expectations and we are delighted to have been able to make meaningful contributions to worthy causes.
"As a company we are committed to giving back to the community where we can and by fundraising in the office we are able to have some fun whilst making a valuable contribution.
"The dedication shown by individuals is always very impressive and we look forward to another eventful and successful year of fundraising."
