Malew maintains momentum

by isleofman.com 16th January 2012

Residents of Malew have received some good news.

The parish commissioners have confirmed their rates won't be rising in the forthcoming financial year.

The local authority says they will stay at 152 pence in the pound for the fourth year running.

The board says, despite an increase in fuel and waste disposal charges, and audit fees, it's kept costs down and maintained services, through good budgeting and efficiency savings.
