Camper van damaged after trolley incident

A GROUP of males "riding" a shopping trolley are thought to be responsible for damage caused to a camper van on Friday.

 

Police are appealing for witnesses after the van, which was parked in Castle Street, had its red side light smashed at around 10.45pm.

 

A spokesperson for Peel Police said: "A group of males of were heard passing through Castle Street making a loud noise.

 

"It became apparent that the males were using a shopping trolley from a local supermarket and may have been 'riding' the trolley through Castle Street when the incident occurred."

 

Anyone who witnessed this incident or who knows who is responsible should contact Police Headquarters on 01624 631212.
