Callow and Walker take round four success

John Callow was the winner of the fourth round of the Up and Running Winter Walking League at St John’s on Sunday.

He finished ahead of Chris Cale and Stella Corlett in the senior 10 kilometre event.

Caroline Walker was the winner of the senior five kilometre event with Danielle Oates the runner-up and Karen Greatbatch in third.

The junior two kilometre winner was George Melvin with Jason Turner and Stephen Waddington completing the top three.

Freya Melvin pipped Lucy Parsons to take the junior one kilometre race.

There were some familiar names amongst the quickest competitors in ‘actual time’ - Michael George, Jock Waddington and Richard Gerrard (10km) and Alex Eaton, Adam Cowin and Juan Bellando (5km).
