Two Manx women who have had PIP breast implants have been describing their health fears as controversy continues over their removal.
Concerns over the use of industrial rather than medical grade silicone were first expressed just before Christmas.
But at present, the United Kingdom government says there is no clear evidence the French implants are more risky than other brands.
Although no NHS surgery using the implants has been carried out on the Isle of Man, a number of women here are worried over the implants they had privately.
Lori and Sam from Douglas both received PIP implants from the Harley Medical Group, but the clinic, which specialises in cosmetic surgery, has refused to replace them.
The women say, whoever is to blame, their health should be the priority, although they understand not everyone is in favour of taxpayers footing the bill:
