The Island's Freethinkers are encouraging anyone interested in a non-religious approach to life to give them a try at their first public meeting of 2012.
The Freethinkers are a group of humanists, agnostics and atheists who meet for lively discussion on a wide range of themes throughout the year.
The group's starting the new year with a change of venue; they'll meet monthly on Sunday afternoons at the Java Lounge in Duke Street in Douglas.
This Sunday the group poses the question 'What Makes Us Freethinkers?'
Chairman Jeff Garland outlines how the meetings are run:
The meeting's at the Java Lounge on Sunday (January 15) at 2pm.
