by isleofman.com 14th January 2012

The battle for JCK Division Two is on a knife edge.

Union Mills won the clash of the top two on Saturday to close the gap on leaders Marown.

Goals from Gary Logan, Matty Cain and Steven Quine fired the Millers to a 3-1 win at Crosby.

They are now just three points behind Marown with a game in hand.

Marown’s goal was scored by Gary Thomas.

Onchan are also right in the mix after a Fletcher Craine goal sealed a 1-0 victory over a spirited Police side.

There was also a solitary goal at Braddan as Anthony Corkill secured all three points for fourth placed Michael.

Bottom club Ronaldsway grabbed a point in a 2-2 draw at Douglas and District, whose goals were scored by Richard Sparkes and Adam Rosevear from the penalty spot.

Douglas Royal and Pulrose United shared six goals at Ballfletcher.

Liam Bowley (two) and Mike Skillen were the Pulrose scorers.
