House burgled while in process of renovation

A HOUSE in Douglas that is currently undergoing renovation work was burgled this week.

 

Police are investigating the incident which happened overnight on January 12 going into January 13.

 

A number of items were taken from the unoccupied house on Kingswood Grove including power tools and white goods.

 

The full details of the stolen items have not been released but police say the goods would have had to be moved in a large van or car.

 

PC Richard Cretney from the Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team has asked anyone who saw a vehicle in the area between 5pm on January 12 and 8am on January 13, to come forward.
