Freethinkers begin 2012 programme

by isleofman.com 13th January 2012

The Isle of Man's Freethinkers are encouraging anyone interested in a non-religious approach to life to give them a try, at their first public meeting of 2012.

The Freethinkers are a group of humanists, agnostics and atheists who meet for lively discussion on a wide range of themes, throughout the year.

They will be getting together monthly on Sunday afternoons at a new venue, the Java Lounge in Duke Street, Douglas.

This Sunday (January 15) the group will pose the question 'What Makes Us Freethinkers?'

Chairman Jeff Garland outlines how the meetings are run (listen to audio file below):

This Sunday's meeting at the Java Lounge starts at 2pm.
