The head of a local construction company says changes to the way government schemes are advertised could help the industry through a difficult time.
The Treasury has announced advertising for major projects is to be streamlined, by asking the Employers' Federation to publicise tenders to its list of approved firms.
The move will save the government some of the ?240,000 it currently pays to Isle of Man newspapers to advertise the opportunities.
Tony Wood of Auldyn Construction says the building trade has seen something of a slowdown in recent times.
