Death of former councillor

A former Douglas councillor has passed away.

Ken Whipp served as a member of Victoria Ward between April 1994 and April 1996.

He was well-known in the town, and he and his wife Dorothy celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 2009.

Mr Whipp died on Tuesday.
