Police investigate Hibernia collision

POLICE are investigating a two car road traffic collision which left a female passenger needing medical attention.

 

The incident happened at 2.30pm on Monday at the Hibernia Crossing in Maughold (on the Ramsey to Douglas Coast Road).  

 

The police, ambulance service and the Department of Infrastructure were all called to the scene.

 

The female passenger of one of the vehicles received medical attention from the ambulance service at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.

 

Police have said they would like to speak to the driver of a small blue/green van which was seen in the area prior to the collision. The driver, who was male and wearing a blue woolly hat, turned onto the Hibernia back road.

 

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who can identify the driver of the van, is asked to contact PC Diamond at Ramsey Police Station on 01624 812234 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
