Advertising switch 'makes sense'

A marketing expert is applauding a government decision to change the way it advertises for Isle of Man contractors.

The Treasury has announced that instead of placing ads in local newspapers, the Manx Employers' Federation will now circulate details of tender opportunities to a list of accredited local firms.

Professor Hugh Davidson says the approach makes sense in the present economic climate:
