Consistent Oates wins English Skeet round

Ayre Clay Target Club held the second round of their English Skeet winter league at Blue Point on Sunday.

Paul Magee shot his first ever straight 25/25 in the first squad, with Kevin Oates on 23 and Jeff Corkill and junior shooter Gaby Singer hitting 18.

Junior Jack Kneen was the highest scorer in the second squad on 20, with Dave Corlett and Peter Fabrizio on 18.

Oates scored another 23 in the second round to take the win, with Kneen on 22.

Roy Moore, Peter Fabrizio and his son Giulio all scored 21.

Results: A/B Class: 1, Kevin Oates 46; 2, Paul Magee 42; 3, Dave Corlett 37.
C Class: 1, Jack Kneen 42; 2, Peter Fabrizio 39; 3, Gaby Singer 38.

This week at Blue Point it's a 50 DTL.

Entries close at 10.15am.
