Inquest into motorcycle rider's death to open tomorrow

THE inquest into the death of a motorcycle rider from Castletown will be opened and adjourned tomorrow (Wednesday).

 

46 year old John Barrie Sumner, known to all as Barrie, died on January 3 after his Honda VFR motorbike was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Zafira.

 

The incident happened at around 6.15am near to the Fairy Bridge on the A5 Castletown to Douglas road.

 

The inquest will be opened by the Coroner of Inquests Mrs J Hughes at Douglas Courthouse at 9.30am.
