Crossroads seeks adventurers

by isleofman.com 9th January 2012

CROSSROADS Caring for Carers (Isle of Man) is looking for budding parachute jumpers to help raise funds for the charity.

It wants hundreds of volunteers to take part in a parachute jump and those who raise enough sponsorship will be able to jump for free.

There are three types of jump available. They are an accelerated freefall, where people can experience skydiving solo from up to 12,000 feet, a Tandem Skydive from 10,000 feet attached to a professional instructor and a Static Line jump which is performed solo from up to 3,000 feet.

Volunteers can jump from any one of 20 British Parachute Association approved airfields across the UK.

No experience is necessary as training is given and anyone who raises from £360 (depending on the type of jump they choose) will receive their jump for free.

To find out more ring 673103.
