Island out to repeat X-country success

A team of around 40 athletes, officials and spectators is representing the Isle of Man at the Lancashire Cross Country Championships today (Saturday).

Witton Park in Blackburn is the venue for the annual gathering, with the muddy conditions ideal for the event.

The team secured a number of medals last year, including two golds, and Andy Fox from Manx Harriers is hoping for more success this time around:
