Jersey to become clean tech rival?

by isleofman.com 6th January 2012

Jersey looks set to follow in the footsteps of, and potentially become a rival to, the Isle of Man's clean technology industry.

A company on the Channel Island, Whitmill Trust, has recently established a partnership with Japanese internet television network UBrainTV.

It's aim is to attract alternative energy technologies from Japan to Europe, and Jersey in particular.

The Manx government has already entered into discussions with UBrainTV to establish the Isle of Man as a clean tech centre for excellence.

Representatives of the firm came to the Isle of Man for talks at the end of November.
