Xmas Eve death: inquest opening

An inquest into the death of Peel man who was found dead in the town on Christmas Eve is being opened and adjourned this afternoon (Wednesday).

The body of 57-year-old Phillip John Brown was discovered at around 4.45pm on December 24, near Peel Yacht Club.

Police say the death was not suspicious.

Venue and time of inquest: Douglas courthouse, 2.30pm.
