The Steam Packet is warning of possible disruption to sailings later today (Monday).
Weather forecasters are predicting winds of gale force eight or nine tonight and tomorrow morning, gusting up to 60 miles an hour.
The windy weather is expected to last for much of the week.
The Steam Packet says an update on this evening's 7.45 sailing will be made at around 5pm.
