Ambitious plans to regenerate the Isle of Man's towns and villages should begin to take shape in 2012.
That's the view of Chief Minister Allan Bell who says the year just past has been spent planning the various schemes and consulting with the public.
Eight million pounds has been set aside for local regeneration projects, and a number of firm planning applications are now going forward.
