THE police would like to speak with a man who spoke to a young woman by the Broadway gates of the Villa Marina at 3.20pm on New Year’s Eve (yesterday).

The male is described as 40 years old, tall and slim with a brightly coloured jacket and beanie hat.

Although the police are keen to reassure the public that this man does not pose any known risk, they ask that if anyone knows the identity of this male to contact police headquarters on 631212 or crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
