Two of the Isle of Man's best known charities are are pooling their resources, and are preparing to start 2012 under a new name.
Crossroads Caring for Carers and the Manx Foundation for the Physically Disabled are in the process of forming a new organisation, called Crossroads Care.
The merger began on December 1, and the closure of services for a couple of weeks over the holiday period has provided an ideal opportunity to get new structures in place.
