Santa flights bring Christmas cheer

by isleofman.com 29th December 2011

TWO planefuls of Christmas cheer took to the skies around the Island recently as part of the annual Manx2.com Santa flights.

For the trips, passengers checked in at Santa’s special grotto at Isle of Man Airport – with special thanks to Save the Children’s Festival of Trees and Victoria Road Nursery - before boarding the round-the-Island flights, including a meeting with Santa who made sure every youngster received a present too.

Noel Hayes, chairman, Manx2.com, said, "We were delighted to once again welcome the Christmas holiday season with these special flights – helping Santa’s reindeers preview their Christmas Eve routes across the Island.

"We were specially pleased that Santa appeared with early presents for the children too.”
