Make your tree donations for charity

by isleofman.com 29th December 2011

A festive collection of trees will remain on display at Ronaldsway Airport until the end of next week.

The Save the Children Festival of Trees has become a firm fixture during the Christmas period, and an important fund-raiser.

Trees are decorated in imaginative ways to reflect a wide range of businesses and community groups in the Isle of Man.

Members of the public can vote for their favourite exhibit and make a donation, as Elaine Moretta from the Manx branch of Save the Children explains (listen to audio file below):

This year there are 19 trees, which will be on display until Friday, January 6.
