Xmas Day 2011 sets new record

The Isle of Man experienced anything but a white Christmas this year.

After the freezing conditions twelve months ago, the Meteorological Office at Ronaldsway says Christmas Day 2011 was the warmest ever recorded.

During the day, temperatures rose above 12 degrees Celsius, or 54 fahrenheit.

Forecaster Colin Gartshaw says that made it a new record:
