No sinister reason for Harley's death

Police say Harley the husky who was found dead on Christmas Eve died as the result of an accident.

Harley's disappearance sparked a massive Facebook campaign after his owners appealed for help, and a number of search parties were set up to look for him.

He was found dead in the Begoade area of Onchan on Saturday.

Police say they are not looking for anyone in relation to Harley's death and his owners have been informed of the outcome of their investigation.

Officers are thanking everyone who helped look for the pet.
