FAIRBAIRN Private Bank has expanded its London team by appointing Mark Lambert as senior business developer.

He will be based in the bank's London officer and will report to Rob Currie the head of private banking UK.

Mark, who joins Fairbairn from UBS, will focus on building relationships within the professional intermediary space.

He has over 20 years' experience in the financial service industry, incorporating roles as a financial planner and independent financial adviser with American Express and, more recently, in the investment platform and private banking worlds.

Commenting on Mark's appointment Rob Currie said: "We are very pleased to welcome Mark to the Fairbairn Private Bank team.

"He joins with a history of loyalty and success and I'm sure he will fit well into the culture at Fairbairn Private Bank and our mentality of doing the right thing by the client at all times.

"The UK is a very important market for us and one where we see tremendous growth potential. I am confident that Mark will make a significant contribution to the development of our business in the region."

Mark said: "I am exceptionally pleased to be joining an award-winning bank with such a strong reputation for client service. I look forward to delivering its range of private banking and investment services to a select number of law, accountancy and independent financial adviser firms in the UK."
