New TV for Hospice thanks to local company

by isleofman.com 21st December 2011

LOCAL company ELS has helped Dot's Dream Foundation provide a TV for one of the family rooms at the Isle of Man Hospice.

ELS, which is fronted by Justin McMullin, has been an avid supporter of Dot's Dream Foundation since it was set up in April of this year in memory of the former Mayor of Douglas Dot Pitts.

Debbie Jallow from the foundation said: "We spent many sleepless nights at Hospice and having a small luxury like a television is a welcome distraction.

"The family facilities are fantastic at Hospice but we noticed that one of the rooms didn't have a TV and thought that we could purchase and install one.

"On hearing our idea Justin immediately came forward with the massively generous donation of the TV from ELS."

Having received the 26 inch television Dot's Dream Foundation was also able to secure help from Wade's Aerial Services to install the television at the Hospice.
