TODAY (Wednesday) is the last day for posting Christmas cards and gifts to the UK and Channel Islands.
After this date only the Special Delivery service, which includes a compensation level of £500, will be available. This can be used until Friday, December 23.
Post for local delivery should be sent by Friday, December 23.
There will be normal postal delivery on Christmas Eve and post offices will be open until 12.30pm. The Douglas Mail Centre will be open until 4pm.
Isle of Man Post Office has said it is taking longer for parcels to arrive in the Island due to the adverse weather conditions experienced over the last few weeks.
It says it is "working hard" to sort and deliver customers’ parcels as soon as they arrive in the Island.
