Christmas gifts for needy children

The Salvation Army and Isle of Man Bank have teamed up again this year to provide presents for children in need on the Island.

The Manx public as well as businesses and individuals have donated over 1,500 gifts for people who can't afford to buy their own.

Salvation Army captain Carolyn Clampton told Manx Radio there will be another treat after Christmas Day:
