by isleofman.com 20th December 2011

POLICE are investigating after two vehicles had their tyres punctured in Douglas.

Both incidents of criminal damage took place overnight between Saturday, December 17 and Sunday, December 18.

A Suzuki motorbike, which was parked outside the Quarterbridge Hotel, had both tyres punctured.

A witness to the incident said it was carried out by a white male teenager with fair hair.

He was wearing a checked coat over a grey hooded top and was carrying an orange drawstring bag.

A dark grey Ford Focus mobility vehicle, which was parked on Quarterbridge Road, also had both of its front tyres punctured.

Police say this has caused significant problems for the owners of the vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Martin at Lord Street Police Station on 01624 631212.
