Missing mobile phone has disabled boy's vital emergency numbers

AN urgent appeal has gone out from a distraught mother for the return of a missing mobile phone which contains vital telephone numbers for medical emergencies for her severely disabled son.

Sandy Wrigley has been using social media networks in a bid to find the Nokia phone which contains the numbers of consultants at Alder Hey hospital in Liverpool where her son is being treated for complications caused by his disabilities.

“I left my phone in a trolley on Thursday night at Tesco about 6pm and it has not been handed in there, nor has it been handed into the police.

“I was back down at Tesco within half an hour of realising I had left it and it wasn't there. I have never backed up my phone and I’m in desperate need of the contact numbers.”  She frequently needs to use the numbers when her son’s condition deteriorates.

“Unfortunately, the only place these were is on my phone and I am at the end of my tether and didn't sleep last night at all.

“I am happy to offer a reward of £50 for the return of this phone - it’s not even a new phone, it’s at least 2 years old, but I desperately need the numbers.”

The missing phone is a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone and is quite distinctive because it was in a soft pink and white bagpuss case.

The phone had not been recovered up to 12 noon on Sunday (18th).

Sandy Wrigley can be contacted on another mobile number - 461052.
