Light up a Life in Ramsey and Peel

by isleofman.com 18th December 2011

Families and friends will come together this weekend to celebrate the lives of their loved ones.

A week after Hospice’s annual Light Up a Life service, similar gatherings are taking place in Port St Mary, Ramsey and Peel with carols, readings and reflection, including performances from local choirs and music groups.

A representative of Hospice will speak at each of the services.

This afternoon (Sunday) Ramsey Catholic Church will hold a service at 5pm before St German’s Cathedral in Peel is the venue at 7.30pm on Monday.

Lord Bishop Robert Paterson says as well as the annual outdoors ceremony, it’s important to hold the services in different parts of the Island.
